In a highly competitive printer market, it’s not easy to stand out in the minds of consumers who often make decisions based strictly on price. This is the challenge that Epson faced when it launched its WorkForce 3540 printer. To show how well this compact multi-function printer handled itself in a small business, we produced a case study video at a Vancouver start-up brewery and aired it as part of our national technology TV show. Airing on the Business News Network (BNN) across Canada, GetConnected reaches many small business owners who would be interested in technology that helps to improve their operations and make them more efficient. We supported the GetConnected segment with 1-minute WF3540 tips throughout the show, a contest giving away a WF3540 on GetConnected Radio, and social media promotion.
